How We Rate Casinos
Every trust score on this site is a weighted mean of six criteria, published below with their weights. The point of publishing it is that you can disagree with us in a specific way — if you think withdrawals matter more than licensing, you can reweight it yourself and see where that lands.

The criteria in detail
Roulette selection — 25%
The heaviest weight, because this site is about roulette specifically. We look for single-zero European tables, French tables with la partage, and a reasonable spread of live and RNG options. A casino offering only American double-zero roulette cannot score above about 4 here regardless of anything else, because it is charging double for the same game.
Odds and payouts — 20%
Standard payouts at standard house edges: straight up 35 to 1, split 17 to 1, street 11 to 1, dozens 2 to 1. Novelty variants that shorten payouts to fund a feature are fine when disclosed — Lightning Roulette's 29 to 1 is an honest trade — and are marked down heavily when the reduction is not obvious from the table. We check paytables against our own odds charts.
Bonus value after terms — 20%
What an offer is worth once wagering multiplier, game weighting, maximum-bet rules and excluded-bet clauses are applied — not what the banner says. An offer whose expected clearing cost exceeds its face value scores poorly even if the headline number is large. We run each one through our wager calculator and show the working.
Withdrawals — 15%
Speed, limits, fees, and how often payouts are questioned or delayed. Documented patterns of withheld withdrawals are the fastest way to lose points anywhere in this rubric.
Licensing and safety — 10%
Regulator strength and the practical recourse available in a dispute. MGA and UKGC sit at the top; Curaçao and comparable offshore licences score around 6, which is deliberate — they are real licences with weak enforcement, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. Unlicensed operators are not reviewed at all.
Player tools — 10%
Deposit limits, loss limits, session reminders, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion: whether they exist, whether they take effect immediately, and whether they can be found in under a minute. Tools that are buried or delayed score as absent.
What we do not score
- Game count. Four thousand slots is not four thousand reasons to play roulette there.
- Site design. A polished interface tells you nothing about whether withdrawals arrive.
- Sponsorships and celebrity deals. Marketing spend, not player value.
- Commission rates. What an operator pays us has no input into the score, and we do not accept payment for positions.
- Anything we cannot check. If a claim cannot be verified against the operator's own terms or a regulator's register, it does not appear.
How scores change
Scores are reviewed when something material changes: a licence, a payout policy, the roulette lobby, or the terms attached to an offer. We do not adjust a score because an operator asked, and we do not remove a drawback because it is commercially awkward.

The conflict of interest, stated plainly
We earn affiliate commission when someone signs up through our links. That is the whole business model, it is disclosed on every page, and it is a real incentive to be positive. The defences against it are a published rubric, drawbacks left in, and a short list rather than a long one. Read the affiliate disclosure and judge for yourself.
Why the list is short
Most casino review sites rank twenty or thirty brands. The arithmetic of that is straightforward: more brands means more affiliate programmes, and a ranking with thirty entries needs twenty-five of them to exist purely as filler. The scores at positions 8 through 30 are not assessments; they are a gradient.
We would rather review one operator properly — its roulette lobby, its paytables, its licensing weakness, its withdrawal record — than publish a table designed to give every link somewhere to live. The list will grow when a brand earns it on the criteria above, and every addition will keep its problems in the review.
